Superwinch new generation S5500 is a 5500 lb (2495 kg) line pull 12 or 24 volt heavy duty DC electric planetary winch. Built extra tough with a high torque 3.6 Hp (2.7 kW) permanent magnet motor driving the heavy duty steel geared 3 stage planetary gearbox. With high recovery speed, dynamic and mechanical brake for load holding control for safety and operated forward and reverse through a sealed submersible solenoid with 30 foot remote lead or optional wireless controls. Additional feature is the machined metal free spool lever for rapid rope removal and a high compression steel drum suited to both steel or synthetic rope.
